Alright I have a legitimate excuse for not blogging in a while this time, I broke my blogging site 
Somehow the mySQL database behind my old site was broken when some things failed, I took the chance to upgrade mySQL and PHP, and between the broken database and new versions of everything I couldn’t get some things working. After a few minutes of that I decided I was lazy and this was a good chance to finally switch to Wordpress, a much more modern blogging platform. I’ll move my old site to somewhere as an archive and put it up here.
It looks like there are all sorts of fun plugins and things and all that for wordpress so I’ll definitely be playing with that and customizing things. For now this is some wordpress downloaded theme which I just put my own photo on at the top there.
I’ve been pretty busy with all sorts of things and just got back from a super fun road trip with Reilly to Banff to see Matthew Good and on to Calgary to visit people, with many adventures on the roads in between. I’ll try to write some stuff on here later.
