LGB, originally uploaded by coaxeus.

Once again digging through the photo cauldron I have found a forgotten photo. This one made me laugh because you can tell I held the camera sideways in an attempt to capture more vertical space, despite that particular camera shooting perfectly square pictures. Sigh.

From a spontaneous photo walk of the Lion’s Gate Bridge.

Here is a photo of Cannon Beach in Oregon. I camped near the beach and in the morning hiked into the state park nearby hoping for views just like this. Success!

The opening scenes of Goonies were filmed on this beach :)

Bye Luna :(

Luna!, originally uploaded by coaxeus.

Sending lots of happy thoughts to Miranda and Reilly today, as they’ve lost a member of their family, the very much loved Luna cat. They gave her an awesome cat life and she was one of the happiest funniest cats around, a favorite of everyone who met her. I am sure she is frolicking in that great big cat palace in the sky now.

good morning

Hello internet,
Just thought I would check in and update you on my goings on!
Tofino was fantastic as usual, here is a photograph:
I am doing the Movember thing again, along with my coworkers we have raised about $1,000 so far. The movember thing seems much more popular this year, as is the trucker ’stache, so I’ve opted to attempt to build mutton chop type things this time. Anyway if you wanted to donate to Prostate Cancer research via my donation page it is here: http://ca.movember.com/mospace/334294
The exciting thing going on is that we move into our new place this weekend!! No more tiny crappy old broken apartment. The new place is crazy nice and now all our moneys will be invested into it, rather than wasted on silly rent.
Here is the current green box situation (actually this is only about 3/4 of it)
And here is what we get possession of on Saturday! Words cannot describe how much I am looking forward to it.
Heaps of natural light! fireplace! Wide plank dark Walnut hardwood floors!! upgraded appliances, lighting, etc etc.
There are also bedrooms, bathrooms, dining, balcony, etc. but oddly I am more excited about the washer & dryer from THE FUTURE:
We have been living without a dishwasher or laundry machines for years and years now. No fun I say.
Also it doesn’t hurt that there is a huge rooftop patio, mountain view, vast network of hiking trails ten steps away, etc.
Anyway, I gotta get some work done here, but I demand that you all visit us in our new home as we are quite pleased that we will have a place we can be proud of and show off :)
